Corporate Finance
Job Duties:
  • Execution of corporate finance transactions for listed and private companies
  • Drafting statutory announcements, circulars and prospectus
  • Assessing potential deals, preparing pitch books and conducting financial due diligence
Job Requirements:
  • University degree and, preferably, an accounting or legal qualification or MBA
  • 1 to 2 years' relevant working experience, preferably having experience in IPO, M&A or working with listed companies or reputable audit firms
  • Strong analytical and report-writing ability
  • Willing to travel and work under pressure
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Putonghua
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered
Securities Department:
Senior Accountant/Settlement Officer
Job Duties:
  • Handle daily accounting operations and prepare full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end closing independently
  • Ensure accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports
  • Handle daily settlement of securities transactions
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Accounting or above with Certificate in Intermediate LCCI
  • Minimum 3 years accounting experience in securities industry is preferred
  • Able to prepare a full set of accounts independently
  • Proficiency in MS Words, Excel and Chinese word processing
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Putonghua
  • Able to work independently, strong sense of responsibility and detail-minded
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Securities Department:
Dealing Officer
Job Duties:
  • Handle day-to-day trading duties through phone and trading platforms
  • Match daily transaction records and compile various trading reports
  • Execute trading orders with high level of accuracy
  • Provide market movement updates, enquiry handling to clients and Accounts Executives
  • Monitor trading system and online trade transactions
  • Review the dealing and operation procedures from time to time to ensure compliance with rules regulations
Job Requirements:
  • Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Banking, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of dealing experience with knowledge in using trading system
  • Knowledge in stocks in HK and Global markets
  • Licensed with SFC Type 1 regulated activities
  • Shift duty may be required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer oriented
  • Good command of Chinese and English, fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Good team player and willing to learn
Securities Department:
Credit Risk Control Officer
Job Duties:
  • Perform credit monitoring of securities trading & margin financing business
  • Follow up margin call status and take necessary debt recovery procedures
  • Support credit evaluation and risk assessment on credit application, periodic reviews, and requests etc
  • Prepare annual loan renewal schedules and respective credit checks
  • Monitor daily market movements; identify market & liquidity risk exposures and promptly submit escalation report of any irregularities and limit excesses Monitor margin loan business and take part in margin call and overdue reporting
  • Post-approval monitoring, identifying and evaluating credit risk of the Branch's loan portfolio
  • Perform risk information gathering and screening, following-up of early warning signals, identifying potential problem credits
Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related discipline(s)
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience in securities trading and margin financing field
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of SFC is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word & Excel
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in English, Putonghua and Chinese
  • Can work independently with good sense of responsibility
Compliance Department:
Junior Compliance Officer
Job Duties:
  • Participate in all risk and compliance engagements such as internal audit, internal control review and SFO compliance review
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and professionals to analyze, develop, maintain and conduct amendment of risk and compliance frameworks, policies and standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Jointly conduct AML / KYC assessments and transaction monitoring on AML as well as perform an internal control function to ensure the business and operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Organize training programs to enlighten colleagues on the consequences associated with either complying or defying external or internal regulations
  • Perform ad hoc assignments if necessary
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years relevant working experience in brokerage firms or other security institutions
  • Good understanding of SFO and other relevant rules and regulations is a benefit
  • High sense of responsibility with good organizing, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, possessing initiative and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
